About the initiative

Entrepreneurs and companies are crucial in order to reach the UN Sustainable Development Goals. With innovative solutions the entrepreneurs create the possibility and the basis for solving the world's biggest challenges. We call them SDG entrepreneurs.

Tuborgfondet and the Danish Foundation for Entrepreneurship are collaborating in the Micro grant initiative for the UN Sustainable Development Goals to put a focus on young entrepreneurs and new businesses that are driven by solving big global challenges. We will seek to strengthen these young entrepreneurs, among others by distributing 150 SDG micro grants over the next three years. Read more about the project here (in Danish).

SDG micro grants can be applied for in the same application rounds as the normal micro grants – next deadline is September 28th 2020
