Two grants were handed out at the New Year's reception

PorcoVision and VIOBAC are two earlier micro grant recipients who were awarded the Youth Startup Investment Potential grants at the New Year's reception on 31 January.

Last year, PorcoVision and VIOBAC received a micro grant from the Danish Foundation for Entrepreneurship.

On 31 January the two student startups each received a Youth Startup Investment Potential grant of DKK 100,000. The prize-giving was held at the New Year's reception of the Danish Foundation for Entrepreneurship. HRH The Crown Prince Frederik was guest of honour at the New Year's reception and handed out the two grants.

 

PorcoVision was established by earlier students at University of Southern Denmark and produces intelligent technology to ensure the safety of piglets during the farrowing. 

VIOBAC is established by students at University of Copenhagen. They have created a solution to prevent urinary tract infections caused by the use of a catheter.
